National Parks

Hiking photographs! The Rocky Mountains in Colorado and the Badlands in South Dakota both offer outstanding views, but in completely different ways. From lush to arid, these National Parks have something to offer every hiking enthusiast.

Badlands National Park

Tucked into the plains of South Dakota, Badlands National Park contains stunning landscapes and breathtaking views. Only had a short period of time to explore, but I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Landscapes and Plants

Random collection of photos from semi-recent adventures. One last taste of beautiful weather before the snow starts with more regularity. The temperature is already dropping and the wind is starting to bite. But soon, winter photography adventures!

Throwback to a fun trip to Yellowstone National Park. This is truly one of the most beautiful and uniques landscapes. HIGHLY recommend.

Short trip to the state park to shoot some neat looking mushrooms. No mushrooms were eaten in the taking of these photographs.

Guatemala

Throwback to my trip to Guatemala last year! I was amazed with the beauty of the area and the kindness of the people I met, also the food was pretty great. I was able to travel through Antigua, Sololá, and Lake Atitlán with fantastic group of people. I would highly recommend!

Adventures in Fur

Short attention spans-fast little paws- so much fluff. These doggos are some of the most adorable of my animal friends.

Flowers

As summer is moving along, I felt like sharing some beautiful plant life.  Found a little bug friend hiding in a rose but didn't notice until I got home and looked through the photos on my computer.

Found these little prickly friends on a recent walk around the local nature park. I loved the resilience shown as they grew out of cracks along the rocks. Hoping to share more photos and maybe start a photo challenge soon to continue working on my skills and just enjoy my camera a little bit more.
